UCSD VPN (Virtual Private Network) Service of the University of San Diego is designed and configured to permit University Faculty, students, staff and workers to securely access the campus commodity networks by connecting to the internet using a VPN. In this way, the UC San Diego VPN helps the staff, faculty, and students to connect to campus networks by sitting at their homes.

UC San Diego VPN is ideal for students and staff who uses UCSD Library resources for reading articles and searching databases of the UC San Diego library off-campus.

  1. In order to configure VPN on Windows, you must log in to your computer with administrative rights.
  2. To connect to UCSD VPN, make sure you have an Active Directory (AD) username and password.
  3. After that, download the UCSD VPN AnyConnect client

  4. After downloading, Click Next to begin the installation:
